Learn to play Mahjong!  This class is perfect for brand new players or players new to the game.  Learn this timeless game of skill, strategy, and a bit of luck in a quiet and fun setting.  Our dedicated instructors are ready to help you learn every step of the way! 

Class 1: Mahjong 101: Introduction to the Game

In this class, you will learn...

✅ Basic Rules:  learn the basic rules and objective of Mahjong.

✅ Tiles:  understand the different tiles and how they are used.

✅ Card:  learn how to interpret the National Mahjong League Card and choose a line.

✅ Deal:  learn how to build walls and deal tiles.

✅ Charleston:  learn the sequence of the Charleston.

✅ Mahjong Etiquette

✅ Hands-on practice!

✅ Guided play!

✅ Expert tips!

✅ Have fun!

Class price is per player. 

Minimum number of players per class is 4.

Max number of players per class is 8.

If less than 8 players are in your group, The Pines may offer open spaces to other players.
