Every June for forty years my family has spent a week at Sunset Beach, the southern-most point of North Carolina. The southern most end of the beach is a nature preserve and we often walk there in early morning or late evening. On one such walk, this stunning scene of clouds, water, setting sun and low-flying pelicans unfolded before us.
