There's an inlet in Kennebunkport, Maine, that is connected to the sea. There are three rowboats tethered in the middle of the inlet and they are tied together stern to bow so they form a kind of tail. And as the tide rises and falls, causing the water to flow, the three boats form beautiful patterns on the water, not unlike the tail of a cat. I took a photo of these three boats when they formed a pattern that I found very pleasing.
